The Orff Institute
Founded by Carl Orff himself in 1961, the Orff Institute is located in beautiful and picturesque Salzburg, Austria! Fun fact: the Orff Institute is the film location site of the Von Trapp family home in the movie, The Sound of Music. Several NCAOSA members are guest teachers at the Orff Institute, and a few have attended the year-long Special Course, or master’s program.
- International Summer Course
- Orff Symposium at University Mozarteum (every five years)
- The Special Course (9-month certification, every other year)
